Skipjack Akitas

At the age of 10 1/2+, Ruffie Q'd for her Novice Draft Dog title from the
BMDCA on April 19, 2009. BMDCA has allowed regional clubs to open their
draft tests to other breeds since 2000. Ruffie is the first Akita to claim
the NDD title from the BMDCA. Her test included a heeling pattern, recall,
maneuvering course with cart, 3 minute stay with cart loaded with 20 lbs,
and a 1/2 mile freight haul over varied terrain, also with the 20 lb load
